Quantitative RT-PCR (a) and ELISA (b) determination of LOX-1 expression in HMEC-1 cells pre-treated for 1 h with 0.7 mg/ml Lys LJ extract, then exposed for 24 h to 200 μg of apolipoprotein B (apo B) per ml of ox-LDL.
