A10 cells were treated with 2 mmol/l of H2O2 for 2 h. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and lipid peroxidation were tested to reflect the level of oxidative stress. Overexpression of HSP27 significantly increased SOD activity (a) and decreased the malondialdehyde level (b) in A10 cells infected with LVUTHspb1 compared with A10 cells infected with LVUTEGFP. These two indexes showed no significant difference between non-infected controls and LVUTEGFP (n = 3)
