From: The norpurpureine alkaloid from Annona purpurea inhibits human platelet activation in vitro

Norpurpureine inhibits platelet secretion. Platelets were stimulated with 10 μM ADP in the absence or presence of the indicated concentrations of norpurpureine. The amount of ATP released was quantified from the bioluminescence of the ATP–luciferin/luciferase reaction. The ATP standard calibration curve was used for quantification of the nucleotide.
