Colony formation assays were done to detect cell growth after 14 days of culture. c and d –Relative OD values were determined using CCK-8 assays after 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 days in HT-29 and LoVo cells. e and f – Cells were incubated with 0.05 μg/ml of 5-FU for 48 h. TUNEL assays were performed to detect cell apoptosis.
