Ferroptosis was responsible for the effects of ATF3 up-regulation on cisplatin resistance. Cisplatin-resistant GC cells (SGC7901/DDP and BGC823/DDP) were treated with ATF3 transfection, ferroptosis agonist erastin, RSL3 and antagonist liproxstatin-1 under cisplatin conditions. Then, the levels of ROS (A), MDA (B), lipid peroxidation (C) and GSH (D) were determined.
