CAA acquisition method. Adipocytes were obtained from 3T3L1 mouse preadipocytes by differentiation based on cell treatment with a mixture of rosiglitazone, insulin, dexamethasone, and 3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine (IBMX) for 48 h, followed by incubation with insulin for another 48 h. Then, adipocytes were cultured for 7 days in the presence of melanoma cells seeded on Transwell inserts in a combination of DMEM with 10% BCS and DMEM with 10% FBS (1:1 ratio). The 3T3L1 fibroblasts and control adipocytes were also grown in such a medium. Next, cells were harvested and used for further experiments, or the medium was changed for DMEM without serum, collected after 72 h, and then used for analysis of extracellular proteins level. Additionally, the proliferation of melanoma cells after coculture with adipocytes was examined
