TSG inhibited PA-induced apoptosis in H9c2 cardiomyocytes. After exposure to PA with 0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.8 mM for different times (0–72 h), cell viability was measured by CCK-8 assay (a); cell apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry after incubation with PA (0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.8 mM) for 48 h (b and c). Cell viability (d) and apoptosis (e and f) were detected using CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry, respectively, after combined treatment with PA (0.4 mM) and TSG (0–0.8 mM) for 48 h. * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01, *** P < 0.001. n = 3 in each group
